These are a few of my favorite things

Two tiny mends, because small things also deserve attention.

I have a mild case of the flu, and I'm spending my time in bed to recover faster. To kill time, I work and knit. At the moment, I've gotten bored with both of these activities and remembered that I haven't updated my blog for a while.

Here is a small success story of mending my secondhand 100% cotton pullover. The whole mend took about 5 minutes. pullover broken pullover mended

This second mend is also a success story, in that something was fixed and saved from ripping any further. I like that this, too, was an extremely fast mend. But the perfectionist in me is slightly dissatisfied with how it looks. Not the color; I like the contrast. But I dislike some of the unevenness of the stitches. Also, I should have doubled and crisscrossed the stitches at the corner. But I did not refer to any instructions while doing it and did not remember that I should do it. In any case, it is practical and holds up nicely, and that’s the main thing. imperfect

Happy mending, everyone, and stay healthy <3
