Office knitting: Jaunty Shawl by DRK

To stay engaged and listen, I knit during some meetings. Otherwise, I would start answering e-mails, search online for something related, then something less related, or just drift off into a daydream. So office knitting is truly a productivity act. But since I think some people don’t understand it as such, I try to knit in secret and make sure my hands stay below the level visible to the camera.
The Jaunty Shawl has been on my needles for 6 months already, with a lot of long breaks in picking it up. After the summer holiday, when I started working on it again, I had forgotten how to do the half fisherman's rib and had made some 20 cm in double knit instead. Now this mistake has been corrected, and after today’s three hours of online meetings, I feel back on track with my knitting again.
