Bed Knitting: Minimalist Cardigan by Lana Gatto
I am so excited about finally having a blog again that I feel like I want to post all the time. So, here we go, with my other work in progress.
I have had an idea of a soft, roundish, cloud-like cardigan for a long time. I imagine myself strolling the hallways at work like a little blue cloud. A bit like Winnie the Pooh sang:
I'm just floating around over the ground
Wondering where I will drip
I decided to make my dream come true in the form of the Minimalist cardigan from the Lana Gatto website. It is a free pattern, but available only in two small sizes. I am making it a bit bigger myself as I go along. As the difference between the two available sizes on their website is just 2 stitches, I decided to add another 2 stitches everywhere. It is wonderful how quickly some knits come together, with 5 mm needles!
I call it my bed kint because I always work on it a little before going to sleep.
